CCE The Netherlands, a wholly owned subsidiary of CCE Holding based in Vienna, is acquiring the 23.3 MW project Marknesse in the Dutch province of Flevoland. The project has all licences for operation and construction is scheduled to start before the summer. Commissioning is planned for the end of 2024, which will mark an important milestone for CCE in the Netherlands.

The energy transition in Europe is making measurable progress, thanks in part to the strong commitment of companies such as CCE and its subsidiaries. The Marknesse project in the province of Flevoland in the Netherlands, with a planned capacity of 23.3 megawatts, also strengthens the position of CCE The Netherlands. The investment underlines the company’s commitment to the region. With the Marknesse project, CCE The Netherlands is increasing its portfolio of operational plants to a total of 29.5 MW

CCE is also paying particular attention to the option of grid-relief measures: ‘In our projects, it is important for us to also consider future possibilities. In the Marknesse project, for example, we have a grid connection with sufficient capacity to be able to integrate additional battery storage later,’ explains Jörg Menyesch, Co-CEO of CCE Holding.
