CCE Italia develops, realizes, and operates ground-mounted, large-scale PV plants since 2010.
We are driven by our commitment for a planet worth living powered by 100% clean energy from renewable resources and by the power of competence.
As part of the CCE Holding, with branches in other six countries worldwide, from its headquarters in Jesi (in the province of Ancona, in central Italy) CCE Italia works in the entire Italian territory to bring to life large-scale, ground-mounted photovoltaic projects.
We were pioneers in grid parity projects built without government support and, over the years, grew as a major player and reliable partner in Italy in the field of ground-mounted photovoltaic plants.
Relying on a dynamic and dedicated experts’ team able to tackle all the challenges posed by the energy transition, we design forward-looking and tailor-made solution for local areas to contribute to a more sustainable future.

Ground-mounted PV systems
Ground-mounted PV systems are the most efficient and cost- effective way to generate clean energy. In times of energy transition, ground-mounted PV systems are a key for a more sustainable future for all.
Considering the Italian target to reach 30% of renewable energy sources by 2030 and EU’s goal of becoming climate neutral by 2050, PV-systems are crucial to raise the production of green and affordable energy. Being high adaptable to site conditions, ground-mounted systems maximize energy production while keeping the soil unsealed and assuring highest efficiency and ease of installation and maintenance. Moreover, studies prove they foster biodiversity and bring several benefits to the soil.

Agrivoltaics systems
When combined with agricultural activities, ground-mounted PV-systems give life to agrivoltaics systems.
CCE Italia is a pioneer in integrating PV-plants with agriculture: since 2019 – before the first regulatory directions on agrivoltaics were published in the country – CCE Italia designs its PV-plants in synergy with farm activities, thus contributing to an efficient land-use in a country where soil consumption dramatically rises.
By doing so, CCE Italia offer farmers all the benefits derived from agrivoltaics: water saving for irrigation thanks to better shading, crop protection from heat and extreme weather events, providing a shelter to livestock animals, offering a second chance to low profitable areas and creating a suitable habitat for pollinators.
In a few words: when it comes to agrivoltaics, clean energy becomes a byword for higher yield for the farmer and resilience to the challenges of the climate crisis.

Innovation for flexibilization
Following the Italian national target to fully integrate renewable energy sources in the national grid, CCE Italia is committed to providing the energy market with innovative solutions to ensure grid stability.
In one word: flexibilization. Here is where BESS solutions play a key role: Battery Energy Storage Systems allow to storage surplus energy and return it to the grid when required.
Hydrogen is a great ally of flexibilization: excess renewable energy can be converted into hydrogen, which can, in turn, be used to power transport and integrate natural gas demand.

From the identification of a suitable land to the whole authorization procedure, our competent and energetic Asset Development Team guides our PV-projects all the way through to the ready-to-build phase in the most efficient and smooth way possible.
In a national framework distinguished by a dynamic law landscape, our permitting, grid connection, technical and legal experts and consultants constantly keep up-to-date with the latest regulations and technical requirements to ensure we continue contributing to the energy transition, always complying with the highest quality and reliability standards.
Asset realization
CCE Italia relies on a team of skilled professionals with a long and meaningful work experience in the field of renewable energies. Building on a broad sector-specific knowledge, our Construction Team ensures our large-scale PV-plants comply with the highest industry-standards. From the ready-to-build green light on, our project and site managers guide the whole realization process in close contact with our competent EPCs, local authorities and communities and stakeholders, ensuring the best synergy possible among all the actors involved.
Asset operation
From the first project step to the production of clean energy and its feeding into the grid, CCE Italia follows every phase of the life of a solar park. For this reason, we take care of the operational, administrative and financial management of the realized plants and of their maintenance.
