The successful joint venture between CCE and enernovum has completed another very successful transaction for Italian photovoltaic projects. The two photovoltaic experts were able to sell the rights for projects with a total nominal output of over 250 megawatts to a European investor for infrastructure projects. All projects are being developed in-house by the two companies until they are ready for construction.
Once again, CCE and enernovum can post a significant transaction success with their joint venture founded in Italy in 2017. After only a short negotiation period, project rights for Italian photovoltaic systems with a total nominal output of 254 megawatts were sold to a renowned European investor. The negotiations were accompanied by the business law firm Dentons. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
Green electricity for Italy
Specifically, the acquired portfolio amounts to ten photovoltaic systems, all of which will be built in Italy once they are ready for construction. All projects are further developed in-house by CCE and enernovum until they are ready for construction. The transaction is thus a perfect synergy of international capital and local development expertise. All companies have been active in the Italian PV market for many years.
Cooperation across the board is gratifying
With this successfully completed transaction, CCE and enernovum clearly demonstrate that they are among the leading companies in the field of photovoltaics in Italy. “We are pleased that we can implement our future-oriented projects in Italy with a committed European investor and professional partner,” enthused the two managing directors Martin Dürnberger and Jörg Menyesch. CCE and enernovum will continue to bundle the strengths of the two companies even more in order to develop and implement photovoltaic projects in Italy but also in other countries in Europe and South America in order to advance the energy transition and curb climate change.
