The Volksbank Niederösterreich AG is a long-standing partner of CCE Austria and has already financed several projects of the company in the Austrian market. The transaction was structured as a classic, long-term project financing based on a guaranteed feed-in tariff of 8.97 cents/kWh. The facilities are being built in cooperation with the implementation partner 10hoch4 Energiesysteme from Wiener Neustadt.
'Only with reliable partners like 10hoch4 and Volksbank Niederösterreich can PV projects like this one in Dunkelstein be realized safely and on time,' emphasize Martin Dürnberger and Jörg Menyesch, the two Co-CEOs of CCE Holding.
The project includes two adjacent sites with 2,358 kWp and 2,675 kWp, the owners of the properties being the Minoritenkonvent Neunkirchen. In Dunkelstein, energy generation and animal husbandry will be possible on the same area in the future, as it is an Agri-Photovoltaic project: sheep graze the facility, ensuring the maintenance and preservation of the area in a resource-efficient manner. The construction with pile-driven support systems ensures that the ground is not sealed – a key aspect for sustainable use in line with the Agri-PV concept.
